With The Mirlitones- Chaz Leary, Alex Mcmurray, special guest-Glenn Hartman

  • DBA New Orleans 618 Frenchmen St New Orleans, LA, 70116 United States (map)

Yeah Yeah people.  The Mirlitones.  washboard, two guitars, accordion.  Early show- at DBA New Orleans.

This puts the cap on the strange urge people have for a revival of the folk revival.  Desperate for survival. I decided to just use an authenticity plug-in and continue to do what I was already doing.  If you don't know what I am talking about- check out more music with your inquisition switch flipped to 'on'.

Glenn Hartman is the accordionist for the notorious New Orleans Klezmer All-Stars.  He's a great father and can work the emotions out in music and knows how to operate with a clean nose in some of the shadier, power halls of the music business.

Alex Mcmurray is slightly widely regarded as one of the great New Orleans songwriters of these times.  No-one knows how he does it.  But, there's some experience that you've had that was pleasurable that you couldn't quite explain to folks who weren't there.  He can express that and some mundane things too.  Pretty quick with that guitar too.

Washboard Chaz-  bebop washboard, man about this town and many others.  He's got the Blues Band, The Washboard Rodeo, his pick of the choice early shows, the Dracula Suit.  He's not square and he's been in Colorado town politics.  He plays music on a device for washing clothes.
